When dealing with foreclosures there are a few things to keep in mind (1) The listing agents duties are to the bank and not the buyer they represent the banks best interest in negotiations (2) I work as a buyers agent representing the best interest of the buyer. We negotiate with your best interest in mind First Banks will require you to be prequalified with a lender or have proof of funds when submitting your offer for a property Second All properties are being sold AS/IS with the right to inspect. Third The banks will want to use their title agency and they pay for title insurance, I suggest that you have an Independent title search preformed either by a lawyer or a title company to protect you.
